IT for Humanity is a volunteer-driven initiative that creates IT services (websites, apps, tools, automation) for non-profit organizations and social causes. Instead of paying for development, beneficiaries donate the agreed amount to non-profit partners we work with, creating a win-win-win model for organizations, charities, and volunteers.

Our volunteers are experienced software developers, web designers, project managers, and IT professionals who donate their time and expertise. We carefully select projects to ensure quality delivery and meaningful impact.

We select up to 4 projects per year. This allows us to give each project the attention and quality it deserves, ensuring volunteer time is used effectively and projects are completed successfully.

The donation model aligns the value created with social impact. Instead of traditional payments going to development companies, the funds go directly to non-profit organizations that create real change in society. This creates a triple benefit: organizations get professional IT services, charities get funding, and volunteers get meaningful work.

The donation amount should reflect the value of the IT project you're receiving. Consider: What would this project cost from a traditional development agency? (typically €10,000 - €100,000+), Your organization's budget and financial capacity, Expected ROI and impact the solution will bring. We'll discuss this openly with you when your project is selected.

Yes! Donations to registered non-profit organizations are tax-deductible in most countries. You'll receive proper documentation for tax purposes.

Any non-profit organization, social enterprise, or organization working toward social impact can request a project. You should have a clear mission focused on creating positive change in society.

We evaluate projects based on: Social impact potential, Project feasibility and scope clarity, Your team's capacity to support the project, Long-term sustainability, Commitment to donate to our partner NGOs.

If your project isn't selected in the current cycle, you're welcome to resubmit next year or reach out to discuss how we might help in other ways. We'll provide constructive feedback on your application.

The full timeline typically looks like: 2 weeks - Review and decision on your request, 8-12 weeks - Development and delivery of your project, 1-2 weeks - Final testing, deployment, and handover.

We provide comprehensive documentation and training for your team. We'll also offer a 30-day post-launch support period for bug fixes and adjustments. For longer-term support or future enhancements, we can discuss options.
